Events are created in POVE on iPhone. Guests join a private Event from the invitation link or QR shared by its Host. The website does not create Events, take photographs, or display an Event gallery.

Keep the original invitation private. If it is unavailable or no longer opens the intended Event, ask the Host for a current link. Do not post an invitation publicly or send it through a support message.

Open the exact invitation on an iPhone. It can continue in POVE or its App Clip. If the app experience cannot open, the invitation page shows only limited Event information and never Event photographs.

Receiving a link does not make someone the Host. A valid link may let its holder join while access remains active, so share it only with intended participants.

Camera access is needed only when taking an Event photo. If the camera is unavailable, check the POVE camera permission in iOS Settings, return to the Event, and try again. POVE does not request browser camera access.

A limited roll counts exposures for that participant in that Event. Captures are stored on the device before upload work continues. Keep the app and its local data available while work is still syncing; network interruption can delay an upload without creating more exposures.

Photos are not shown in the ordinary participant Gallery before Reveal. A scheduled Event opens according to its Reveal settings; a manual Event opens when the Host reveals it. After Reveal, authorized participants can view the shared Memory in the full app.

A revealed photo can be saved to Apple Photos or shared through the iOS share sheet when that action is available. Those exported copies are outside POVE and cannot be recalled by a later Event deletion.

The App Clip supports the guest path for joining an Event and taking Event photos without starting from the full app Home. Gallery and the revealed Memory remain full-app experiences.

App Clip storage can be removed by iOS. Installing the full app, reinstalling, changing devices, or clearing local data does not promise recovery of a previous anonymous device session.

In the full app, open Home → Settings → Privacy & Data to request Delete My POVE Data. Within Event Settings, a Host can request Delete Event, while a participant can request Delete My Event Data. A Host can begin removing one photo from its Full Photo actions.

Wait for the remote request to finish before clearing local data. Clear Local Cache removes device-held data and the local session, but does not delete server-held Event data. Reinstalling or losing that session can also remove access while remote data remains.

A remote request begins removal of the relevant Event, participation, content or service data. Limited records or copies may remain where needed for security, abuse prevention, technical recovery, the rights of others, or legal obligations. Saved and externally shared copies are not removed.

From a Full Photo, open Photo actions, then choose Report or Hide Photo and a reason. Reporting can hide the photo from your own view. It does not automatically delete the photo for everyone.

A Host can separately begin removing a photo from the Event or restrict a participant’s access to that Event, with an option to remove that participant’s Event photos. Do not assume a report is anonymous or that it receives an automatic response.

This website does not use a support form and does not collect a privacy request through this page. For a privacy request or help not covered by the in-app controls, email POVE at hello@pove.app. Do not publish an invitation value or photo file when seeking help.

Notifications are off by default. For a scheduled Reveal, Event Settings can offer Notify Me When This Memory Opens. That action asks for notification permission. If permission and device scheduling allow, POVE attempts to add a local reminder on the device.

Manual Reveals do not receive a remote-push promise. A local reminder is a convenience and may be affected by device settings, Focus modes, app removal, or local-data clearing.

For a photo concern, use Report or Hide Photo and the Host controls described above. Preserve only the minimum information needed to explain the issue, and do not redistribute harmful content.

POVE is not an emergency-monitoring service. If someone is in immediate danger or you need an urgent law-enforcement response, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
